Student Remarks
Student remarks are only available for level/class teachers from the Level Gateway and programme teachers from the Programme Gateway.
To access the Assessment Remarks Menu, click on Assessment Remarks from the Level Gateway or Programme Gateway.
Initialization of student remarks
Before the student remarks can be filled for the period you need to initialize the process.
To do this from the Assessment Remarks Menu click on the Initialize menu item.
Confirm your action by clicking YES from the popup confirmation box.
Entering student remarks
Before the student remarks can be filled for the period you need to initialize the process. If you have not done this already for the period check the previous section on how to do that.
To enter student remarks for the current period follow the steps below:
- Click on Assessment Remarks -> Remarks menu path to open the list of registered students in the class/programme for the current period.
- Click on a student to open the remark form.
- Fill out the Remark form and click on the SAVE button to save.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all the other students.
NOTE: if the student list is empty it might be because you did not go through the initialization process. Check the previous section on how to do this.
If you have done this and the list is still empty speak to your school’s administrator.
Remark form details
- Student: The details of the currently selected student.
- Period: the currently selected period
- Enter manually?: turn this on to enable manual entry of remarks instead of selecting from predefined remarks.
- Remark: select or enter the remark for the currently selected student.
